 hello everyone!! 😎 How are you all? Oh yes, on the previous blog I talked about planning, now I'll talk about biography text.

✓What is biography Text?.

A biography is a text written about someone else's life (usually someone famous). An autobiography is a text written about one's own life.

✓Social Function of Biography

To know a person’s story about his/her life outside of any accomplishments this person may be known for.

To give many information easily and educate the readers.

✓Characteristics of Biography

Biography Is not written by subject and always written in third person.

Based on research.

Describes the person’s surroundings (where, when and how the person lived).

Use vivid language to narrate events.

✓Generic Structure:

Orientation (introduction)

It is the opening paragraph, gives the readers the background information of the person

Events

In events, should be chronological order.

Re-orientation (closing)

It consists of conclusion or a comment or the writer. Tell about the echievement or the contribution of the person

Cristiano Ronaldo is a famous soccer player. He is one of the best players at Real Madrid. He was born in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal on February 5, 1985. He is the fourth child of Mr. Jose Diniz Aveiro and mother Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a very handsome man. He has an athletic body with a height of 186 centimeters and weighs 83 kilograms, that makes him look masculine. He has olive skin. He has brown round eyes. His hair is dark brown and wavy.

His favorite color is white and he likes to dress neatly. He likes to wear a watch every time he goes out with his family and friends. He is very kind and generous.

He is known for his speed, skill, control and dribbling abilities, and talent in beating players in one-on-one situations. He is able to finish well, both in the area to score goals and from distance. He is also an accurate free kick specialist.
